Listen LiveAberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University men's basketball team will host Presentation College and Chadron State this Friday and Saturday for a pair of holiday non-conference match-ups. The Wolves will tip off with in town opponent PC at 7 p.m. on Friday, and return to Wachs Arena at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday to face CSC.
The Wolves enter the weekend 1-3 overall, falling to No. 9 MSUM 71-65 in the NSIC opener Tuesday. Northern battled the Dragons throughout the game, tying the score on eight occasions, however was unable to capture a lead. NSU is shooting 45.2% from the floor, 40.2% from 3-point range, and 69.1% from the foul line as a unit this season. Four of the Wolves five starters are averaging double-digit points, led by
Skye Warwick with a 19.8 ppg mark.
DJ Pollard is third on the team averaging 13.3 points per game, and leads the team averaging 7.5 rebounds per game. Northern will look to increase their production off the bench in the coming months averaging only 17.3 points per game currently.
About the Saints (Presentation College) • Presentation is currently 5-1 on the year and has out-scored their opponents 607-404 this season.
• The men have tallied three 100+ point games in 2015, coming out on top in each one.
