Northern continued to shoot well from the free throw line, going 17-for-21 in the game (81.0%). The Wolves were forced to battle a difficult Golden Bear defense who tallied six blocks and 38 rebounds in the 40 minutes of play.

Concordia out-rebounded and out-shot the Wolves in the game, however Northern was able to hold on for the win. Twelve Golden Bear turnovers, resulted in 12 NSU points. The Wolves never reached a double-digit lead in the game, as CU tied the score on seven occasions.

With the game tied at 36 all, mid-way through the second half Northern fell behind 36-40. Rachel Krogman, Devon Brecke, and Sadie Stotesbery brought the Wolves back on top with a combination of two jump shots and three made shots from the foul line. Brecke sealed the game for NSU, dropping her second trey of the game at the six minute mark. Concordia then resorted to the foul game, where the Wolves went 5-for-7 off the backs of Krogman, Hofschild, and Mutchler and recorded the win.

NSU will take to the road next weekend against South opponents Augustana and Wayne State. Game times are set for 6 p.m., Friday, versus the Vikings and 4 p.m., Saturday, against the Wildcats.
