Photo Gallery Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 15 Northern State University women's basketball team secured their second victory of the weekend over Minnesota Crookston, with a score of 66-42. The Wolves improve to 17-3 overall and 11-3 in the Northern Sun.
Rachel Krogman recorded a career high 30 points for the Wolves in the win, surpassing her previous high of 25. Krogman also tallied 11 rebounds, for her eleventh double-double of the season as she went 12-for-17 from the floor.
Sadie Stotesbery tallied 12 points and five rebounds, while recording the team's lone three point basket.
The NSU defense held Golden Eagle leading scorer, Alexa Thielman, under her season average of 17.3 points going into the game. Thielman was the only UMC player in double-digit points. The Wolves out-rebounded their opponents 43-27 in the game and notched 18 assists.

Kara Hofschild, and
Miranda Ristau each notched four points in the win. Brecke led the team with five assists and two steals, while Hofschild garnered two steals of her own. Northern shot for a total of 38 points in the paint, off the back of Krogman.
The Wolves continued to shoot well at home as they were 46.4 percent from the floor and 76.5 percent from the foul line.
Northern will return to Wachs Arena next weekend to take on Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul. Game times are set for 6 p.m., Friday versus the Mavericks, and 5 p.m., Saturday versus the Golden Bears.
