St. Paul, Minn. – The Northern State University soccer notched their first NSIC road victory, with a 2-0 win over Concordia-St. Paul. The Wolves improve to 4-5 overall and 3-3 in conference play. The shutout marks

Kay Hernandez connected with net for the second time this season, putting the Wolves up 1-0 at the 13 minute mark. The shot taken from 25 yards out and just above the keeper, was assisted by
Anna Bondy on the play. The Northern offense tallied ten shots in the game, five of which were on goal.
Freshmen
Tessa Lander, netted her first career goal at the 67 minute mark. Lander scored off her own rebound from the Bondy corner kick.
Andrea Boisner recorded her first assist of the season deflecting the ball to lander on the rebound. Tietz racked up six saves in the win, leading the Wolves to their second shutout. Both Lander and Bondy notched two shots in the win.
The Wolves will be back in action tomorrow from Mankato, as they taken on the No. 2 Mavericks. Game time is set from 1 p.m. between the two squads.
