The Northern State volleyball team took care of St. Cloud State Saturday evening inside Wachs Arena, winning in four sets over the Huskies. Set scores went 25-11, 25-10, 21-25 and 25-22. The Wolves (16-7, 9-6 NSIC) hit .336 as a team in the victory.

Mandy Kurosky led the Wolves with 14 kills in the win while Kelsey Chambers had a solid match, recording 12 kills and hitting a team-best .435 in the match. Cari McGarvie and Jussy Tuscherer each added 10 kills and Tori Biach chipped in with nine and hit .429.

Drew Smith averaged over 13 assists per set as she recorded 53 in the win. Renee Hoffman led the team with 14 digs and had a team-high three service aces. NSU collected eight aces on the night. Chambers and Tuscherer each added eight digs. Biach led the Wolves with three total blocks in the match.

Northern will have another three-match week next week as the Wolves will travel to face MSU Moorhead Tuesday night at 7 p.m. NSU will then go to Winona State Friday and Upper Iowa Saturday for 7 and 3 p.m. starts, respectively.
