The Northern State volleyball team made it a 3-0 week with a four-set victory Saturday night on the road at Bemidji State.
The Wolves sputtered a bit out of the gates as BSU won the first set 25-18. From there on out though, NSU (15-6, 8-5 NSIC) controlled the rest of the match, winning the second and third sets 25-20 each and clinching the match with a 25-16 win in set four. Northern hit .324 as a team in the victory while holding Bemidji to a .217 hitting percentage.
Jussy Tuscherer had a great match for the Wolves as she led the team with a career-high 18 kills in the win. Tuscherer hit .432 on the night and also had three block assists and tied a career-best with 15 digs.

Cari McGarvie also had a big match as she set a season-best with 14 kills against the Beavers. McGarvie led the Wolves with four blocking assists in the win and also hit .462 in the match.
Kelsey Chambers added 11 kills and 10 digs for her eighth double-double of the year.
Holly Vancura had another solid match at setter for Northern as she recorded her third double-double of the week as she had 51 assists and 11 digs in the win. Vancura also led the Wolves with a pair of service aces.
Renee Hoffman registered a team-best 16 digs on the night.
Northern returns home next weekend as Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State come to town. The Wolves will host UMD at 7 p.m. Friday and SCSU at 6 p.m. Saturday.
