The Northern State volleyball team travels to St. Paul, Minn., for the semifinals of the NSIC/US Bank Volleyball Tournament as the Wolves face top-seeded Concordia-St. Paul in a 3:30 p.m. match Saturday.
Both the semifinals and the championship (Sunday at 2 p.m.) rounds will be played at the Ganglehoff Center in St. Paul.
The Wolves are coming off a sweep over Augustana in the first round of the NSIC Tournament Wednesday night, avenging two previous losses earlier this season to the Vikings.
Kelsey Chambers led the Wolves with 16 kills and a .387 attack percentage. Chambers also recorded her seventh double-double of the season as she registered 11 digs in the win as well.
Drew Smith also had a double-double for NSU from her setter position as she had 38 assists and 15 digs in the match.
Sami Nygaard led the back row with 25 digs and
Whitney Kemink led the Wolves defense with six block assists against Augie.
Concordia beat Northern 3-0 in the two teams' previous meeting this season. The loss snapped Northern's nine-match winning streak.
The winner of Saturday's match will face the winner of Minnesota Duluth and Wayne State in the final.
