DICKINSON, N.D. - The Northern State wrestling program took to the road to face a stiff opponent in the Dickinson State Blue Hawks Wednesday night. DSU was ranked eighth in the most recent NAIA Top 20 Coaches Poll and put that ranking on display on Wednesday.
DSU won seven of the ten contested matches. The Wolves got wins from
Ian Muirhead at 141 pounds,
Blake Lundgren at 165 pounds and
Matt Meuleners in the heavyweight bout. Both Muirhead and Meuleners picked up major decisions with 9-1 and 9-0 wins, respectively. Lundgren claimed an 8-4 decision in his match.

Northern State returns to Wachs Arena and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action this weekend, hosting Minot State on Friday night and in-state rival Augustana on Saturday. Mat action begins at 7 p.m. Friday evening and 4 p.m. on Saturday.
