1/29/2013 11:12:00 AM

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State basketball fans will have the chance to relive the glory days of college basketball in the Aberdeen Civic Arena on Feb. 22 and 23 when the NSU Wolves go back in time to host two nights of basketball action.

Friday, Feb. 22, the NSU women and men will take on Minot State at 6 and 8 p.m. The University of Mary will face the NSU women and men on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 5 and 7 p.m.

Doors will open to the general public 45 minutes prior to tip-off of the women's game both nights (5:15 p.m. Friday and 4:15 p.m. Saturday).

General Admission tickets will be pre-sold in the Barnett Center beginning Feb. 8, and Feb. 9 during home basketball games in the NSU Wolves Team Store. They will be available during normal business hours in the Barnett Center through Feb. 21 in the main office area. Tickets for each night (both women and men's game) will be: $15 for general public, $12 for senior citizens and $7 for grades K-12.

Only 2,500 tickets are available for purchase each night. NSU officials expect the Civic Arena to be at capacity both nights so are encouraging the public to purchase tickets early through the pre-sale. A small number of tickets will be available at the door. Once at capacity (working with the fire marshal), fans will not be admitted to the Civic Arena. Current members of the NSU Wolves Club will already have their season tickets and will be notified of correct protocol for this weekend of basketball action.

If you have any questions about the weekend activities, please contact Susan at the NSU Athletics Office: 605-626-3336.
