BISMARCK, N.D. - After pulling off the come-back 28-27 win over St. Cloud State last week, the Northern State Wolves will take their momentum on the road to face a familiar foe in the University of Mary on Saturday.  Kick-off at the Bismarck Community Bowl is set for 2:30 p.m. with NSU looking to match its win total from 2011 with a victory on Saturday.

Setting the Stage:
• Northern State is coming off one if its biggest program wins under head coach Tom Dosch in a 28-27 win over St. Cloud State last Saturday and will look to ride the momentum of that win into this week's meeting with U-Mary.  The Wolves are 4-4 with three games left in the season and are one of four teams sitting atop the North Division standings at 3-1.

Last Meeting:
• On a day in which the Wolves honored 17 seniors prior to the game, it was the young guns who ran the show, as redshirt freshman quarterback Jared Jacobson ran for 180 yards and three touchdowns and threw for another 136 yards and a fourth TD, while junior kicker Felipe Alfaia drilled a 35-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Wolves to a wild 39-36 win over the Marauders in the 2011 season finale.  The win was NSU's first ever over the Maraudrers.

About the Marauders:
• Last week's win for the Marauders snapped a four-game skid and evened U-Mary out at 4-4 on the season.  U-Mary welcomed quarterback Craig Bagnell back to the field last week and is looking to regain the success of the early season.

Last Week:
• NSU senior Mark Hanley hauled in a 34-yard Jared Jacobson pass as time expired to set-up a game-winning PAT from senior Felipe Alfaia, giving the Wolves their first win over St. Cloud State since 1947.  The game-winning drive was set up by a blocked PAT by Mason Thorstad on what had been SCSU's go-ahead TD.
• A strong defensive effort combined with the return of quarterback Craig Bagnell led U-Mary to a 23-7 victory over visiting MSU Moorhead.  The win snapped a four game losing streak for the Marauders, who even their record at 4-4 overall and in the NSIC and 1-3 in the NSIC North. John Oyloe and Grant Singer led a defensive charge that allowed just 225 yards to the Dragons. Oyloe had three tackles for loss, two sacks and knocked down two passes. The junior also led U-Mary with 10 tackles.

The series:
• The Marauders won the first five meetings between the two teams before NSU's dramatic victory last season.  UM leads 5-1.

Time & Temp:
• Saturday's forecast calls for chilly conditions with overcast skies and highs around 32 degrees. Winds out of the north 5-10 mph.

About the NSIC:
• The NSIC has expanded once more in 2012 with the addition of Sioux Falls and Minot State as full-fledged members in the now 16-team league.  The institutions are the fifth and sixth additional members since the league expanded from 10 to 14 in 2008.
