SETTING THE STAGE: NSU hits the road to kick off the second half of NSIC play this weekend, taking on Minnesota-Duluth and Bemidji State in a pair of re-match battles on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The Wolves dropped the earlier match-ups when the teams first met back in mid-December. The Beavers stole a 92-86 victory on Dec. 17 in a game that featured 58 fouls and 88 free throw attempts. UMD claimed an 89-78 victory the following night in similar fashion, sending the Wolves to the free throw line 43 times. NSU missed 32 of 87 free throw attempts on the weekend and lost by a combined total of 18 points. That fact adds fuel to the Wolves' desire in this weekend's rematches.
LAST TIME OUT: The Wolves held one of the top three-point shooting teams in the conference to just four of 19 from long range and 33.3 percent from the floor in the second half, but could not overcome a cold shooting night of their own., going 22 of 66 overall, falling 68-65 to U-Mary last Saturday in their lone game of the weekend.

WHO 2 WATCH 4: Dustin Tetzlaff (F, 6-6, 210, F, Watertown, S.D./Watertown HS/Univ. of South Dakota) notched his second straight and fourth double-double of the season with a 15-point, 16-rebound effort in Saturday night's 65-68 nailbiter loss to U-Mary. The 16 rebounds mark a new career best for the sophomore. Six of those boards came on the offensive end of the floor as the Wolves gathered up 14 offensive rebounds to just six for the Marauders.
