ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University Student Association has designated Saturday's men's and women's basketball games against the University of Mary as a “green game” night. Members of the association will be on hand with 350 recyclable bags to be given away to the first 350 fans that come to the game wearing green apparel.
The Wolves take on U-Mary in a pair of key Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contests on Saturday. The women's game is slated for a 6 p.m. tip-off with the men to follow. Gates will open at 5 p.m.
As an added bonus, NSU senior
Mitch Boeck is on track to reach his 1,000th career point on Saturday. Boeck currently has 993 points to his name, and will likely become the 44th player in NSU history to reach the 1,000-point plateau.
