SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –
Ellen Andrews had 15 kills to lead three players in double figures in that category as the host Augustana College Vikings avenged an earlier loss with a 3-1 victory over Northern State University on Saturday in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference volleyball action.  The Wolves had claimed a dramatic 5-set victory back on Aug. 28, but Saturday's match belonged almost entirely to the Vikings, who took the 25-22, 20-25, 25-19, 25-13 win.

The loss, the second straight for the Wolves, dropped NSU to 6-5 overall and 1-2 in NSIC play, while Augustana moved to 7-8 on the year and 2-1 in league action.

NSU got 13 kills from senior outside hitter Kelsey Aden, but the Wolves as a team were plagued by overall hitting woes, committing 24 attack errors and compiling a hitting percentage of just .146 on the night.  The Wolves also committed seven service errors.

Defensively, the Wolves came up with a pair of blocks and had four players with 13 or more digs.  Freshman libero Stephanie Drake had 16 of the team's 77 digs, while Aden and junior Kayla Ysteboe had 15 apiece.  Junior setter Megan Gilbraith added 38 assists and 13 digs.

The Wolves return home to face Bemidji state on Tuesday before hitting the road again for two more matches next weekend.  First serve for Tuesday's match is set for 7 p.m.
