FAYETTE, Iowa – The Northern State University wrestling team continued their weekend road-trip against two teams ranked in the top-10 in the country Saturday by taking on the #10 Upper Iowa Peacocks and lost by a 38-9 final.
The Wolves are now 3-6 overall in dual action this season and 0-4 in the very strong Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Corbin Surat and
Jared Little recorded wins in the first and last weight classes of the day to account for the Wolves' nine points. Surat won his match by pinning Kyle Pedretti at the 6:01 mark of the match, and Little won a tight decision over Arron Cramer by a 3-2 score.
The Wolves are next in action on Wednesday, February 11th, when they take on the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs in the first of their three-straight home matches to finish off the dual season.
