MANKATO, Minn. – The Northern State University wrestling squad was short a few members Saturday in Mankato, Minnesota, and lost to the #3 Minnesota State Mavericks by a 43-3 final.
Donnie Bowden was the lone victor for the Wolves against a very strong national championship contending team, earning a 10-8 victory via decision over Ben Becker.
The Wolves are in action again tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. when they take on the #10 Upper Iowa Peacocks in Fayette, Iowa.
