BEMIDJI, Minn. –
The host Bemidji State University Beavers completed a season sweep of Northern State University Friday evening, taking a 3-0 decision over the Wolves by set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-20 in claiming their second win over the Wolves in as many meetings this season.

NSU has now dropped six of their last seven matches and sits at 8-11 overall and 3-8 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.  The Beavers moved to 8-14 on the season and 5-6 in the loop.

BSU held the Wolves to a season-low .053 hitting percentage and without a player in double figures in kills.  Junior Jordan Schaffer was the lone bright spot in NSU's offensive effort, finishing with nine kills on the night.  Fellow junior Kayla Ysteboe added eight, but the Wolves committed 23 attacking errors while managing just 29 kills in the 3-set match.

The Beavers, in contrast, committed just 13 attacking errors in 109 attempts, while also serving four service aces.

The road does not get any easier for the Wolves, who must now face nationally ranked Minnesota Duluth on Saturday.  First serve in that match against the 11th ranked Bulldogs is set for 4 p.m. in Duluth.
