ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University wrestling team returned to action after the new year and ran into a feisty NAIA #4 ranked Dickinson State Blue Hawks team that left town winning nine of ten matches on the night.
The Wolves lone win came via a major decision by sophomore Ryan Larsen at 149-pounds by a 16-5 score. The Wolves pushed two other matches to overtime but were unable to get any more wins as the visiting Blue Hawks took home the 29-4 victory.
Northern State is next in action on January 14th when they travel to take on Jamestown College in Jamestown, N.D.
