GAME 2 BOX SCORE
The Warriors continued to punch out hits in the second game of the day, but pitcher Kunfernman kept Northern batters at bay as Winona State took a 7-0 win and a series sweep.
Winona State scored in every inning, using three NSU errors and eight hits to notch their seven runs. No homeruns were allowed and seven of the team's eight knocks were singles, but smart base running and seven walked batters put plenty of ducks on the pond. Two Winona batters led the team with two RBIs each.
The Wolves received singles from
Andrew Lunsetter and
Tom Keiser in the third and seventh innings, respectively.
Nick Wallentiny (0-1) pitched the loss.
