BEMIDJI, Minn. – Northern State University senior goalkeeper Kit Grace (Littleton, Colo.) did not allow a goal in 120 minutes of play on Saturday.
The problem for the Wolves was neither did Bemidji State's Samantha Ross.
BSU and the Wolves battled to a scoreless double-overtime tie in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women's soccer action Saturday afternoon in Bemidji, making it the first time all season that either team has recorded a tie. The Wolves are now unbeaten in their last three games, moving to 8-6-1 on the year and 4-3-1 in conference action. BSU falls to 9-5-1 overall and 3-5-1 in the league.
NSU held a significant 26-14 edge in shots in the game, including a 13-3 edge in the first half and a 7-2 advantage in the second overtime period Ross, however, thwarted all three shots on goal she faced in both periods in regulation and in the second OT.

Kaylee McDonald (Ramsey, Minn.) had a game-high eight shots, three of which were on goal. Junior front-liner
Summer Swan (Oregon City, Ore.) added five shots, four on goal.
The Wolves will be back in action Sunday afternoon, traveling to Minnesota-Duluth for a 1 p.m. contest. The Bulldogs were 2-1 overtime winners over the University of Mary on Saturday. Sunday's game will be broadcast live at www.northernsun.tv.
