Townsend led the Wolves to a pair of ties against Concordia-St. Paul (1-1) and No. 18 Minnesota State (0-0). Against the Golden Bears she grabbed a total of eight saves and made seven saves against the Mavericks. She is the first NSIC goalkeeper to shutout Minnesota State this season, a team who entered the game scoring 4.8 goals per game in conference play. Overall, for the weekend she grabbed 15 saves for a 0.938 save percentage and recorded one shutout (her fourth of the season-tied for most among NSIC goalkeepers).
