Alison Kusler surpassed 1,000 career points in Northern's victory over Sioux Falls this past weekend. Kusler entered the game just 13 points shy of the career marker after scoring 16 the previous night in Marshall as the Wolves topped the Mustangs 57-46. Kusler ended the night with the Cougars scoring 26 points total, while going 6-11 from the floor and 12-12 from the free-throw line. She also nabbed ten rebounds and seven assists, and connected for three of the teams five long range baskets on the weekend. The 42 point weekend boosted Kusler's per game average from 15.9 to 17.0 points per game. She shot a season weekend best of 54.5 percent from the floor.
