Gaul was named the MVP of the NSU Volleyball Classic, where the Wolves went 3-1. She recorded 62 total kills through four matches, averaging 4.43 kills per set. The outside hit .268 in the tournament, including a weekend high .406 versus New Mexico Highlands. In addition, Gaul notched a weekend high 18 kills against South Dakota Mines.
