Ian Smith averaged 41.7 minutes per game during the Elite Eight tournament during the week against East Strousburg, Queens, and Ferris State. Throughout the tournament Smith averaged 18.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 0.7 steals per game. Smith shot for 52.5 percent from the field goal range, fifty percent from the 3-point line, and 78.6 percent from the free throw line. Smith reached the Northern States 1000 point club in the game against Queens, and was named to the National Tournament All-Tournament team.
