Lucas Lorenz, a junior out of Roncalli High School, Aberdeen SD, led the Northern State offense in their 4-2 week versus Minot State and U-Mary hitting .409 and slugging 1.136 with two doubles, a triple, and four homeruns. Lorenz added eight runs scored and 12 RBI while tallying two multiple hit games, including a week best 3-for-5 with three runs scored, six RBI, and two homeruns against U-Mary. Lorenz was perfect on defense with 15 putouts and two assists, he also boosted his season average by 16 points in the six games. The Wolf currently leads the league in slugging percentage (.774) and triples (4), and his second in the league in RBI (41), doubles (12), and homeruns (10).
