Moore won the 149 pound crown at the Dakota Wesleyan Open with a 5-0 record. He opened the day with a 16-0 technical fall over Brandon Gonzalez. The sophomore advanced to the quarterfinals with a pin at 4:39 versus Prince Nyaen. He defeated Robert Shields (SMSU) 5-2 to move on to the semifinals, then battled Tevin Briscoe (UNK) to a 6-5 decision in the semis. He won the championship versus Brayden Willis of Nebraska Kearney. The sophomore tallied a major decision win (12-3) for the Wolves in their dominating 42-3 dual victory over Saint John’s.
