Thompson led the Wolves softball team at the plate in their six games versus MSU Moorhead, Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State. The freshman tallied hits in five of the six games, batting .474 on the week. She tallied two multiple hit games going 3-for-4 in the opener versus MSUM and 3-for-5 in the opener versus UMC. Thompson notched a .500 on base percentage and slugged .526 with a double. She also added three RBIs, a walk, and a stolen base. Thompson was perfect on defense with tallying two put-puts and four assists.
