Ian Smith, a sophomore out of Champlin Park high school, Champlin Park Minnesota, put on a noteworthy performance over the weekend for the Northern State University Wolves men’s basketball team. Smith led the Northern State Wolves in their two wins over Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State averaging 20.5 points per game. Notching 21 points against the Cougars and 20 points against the Mustangs. Shot 58.3 percent from the floor, 50.0 percent from the arc, and 71.4 percent from the foul line. The Wolf added eight rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in the two wins.
