Dakota Bullen earned her first top finish of the 2016 outdoor season on Saturday at the State Farm Emporia State Relays in the 5000-meter run. Bullen finished with a personal best mark of 17:13.51 in the race which is five seconds faster than her previous personal best. She also edged out her closet competition by over ten seconds. Bullen’s time ranks her 18th nationally and is just under a minute off the NCAA automatic qualifying mark.
