Turnquist defeated second-ranked Cael Larson in the Wolves 20-18 dual victory over Augustana. The win for NSU was just the third overall against the Vikings and first since 2019. The graduate student tallied a 3-0 decision victory over the Viking. He held the top position for the entirety of the second period, adding two near fall points and ultimately a riding time point. The South Dakota native improved to 14-2 on the year and 3-0 in the NSIC.
