Northern State freshman Abbey Johnsen (Fr., Plymouth, Minn. / Armstrong HS) went 2-0 in play at #3 singles last week. She topped U-Mary’s Seifert 6-3, 6-4 in a tight battle at the NSU Tennis Courts on Tuesday. She gained her second win of the week against MSU Moorhead on Sunday afternoon in an even tighter match, going into extra points in the first and third sets to take the win, 7-5, 1-6, 10-8.
