Northern State University Athletics

Northern State sophomore Amanda Madden made the cut for the NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships, announced last week by the NCAA.  Madden is ranked #12 in the nation in the women's weight throw and is one of 15 coompetitors to make the National field.  Her season best throw is 56 feet, 9.25 inches.  She will throw at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 14 at the National Championships, held in Mankato, Min.
