Kerry Casper

Kerry Casper enters her second year as the Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee in 2024-25. Her full-time role on the NSU campus is as the Director of Academic Advising & Student Achievement.

At Northern State, Casper has served in her current position since June of 2023 and previously as the Director of TRIO Student Support Services. Before joining the NSU staff, she served in a number of roles at the University of Wyoming within the College of Agriculture & Natural Resources.

Her career began in athletics as the Head Softball Coach at Maple Woods Community College in Kansas City, Missouri from 2008-11. She then jumped to the academic side of higher education as an Enrollment Advisor at Ottawa University.

Casper holds a bachelor of science in sport and recreation management from the University of Minnesota Crookston and a master of science in sports studies from Bemidji State University. She was a softball student-athlete in her time with the Golden Eagles and holds UMC career pitching records for fewest walks allowed per game (1.36) and complete games (45).
