Amanda Fair begins her fourth year at Northern State in the fall of 2026. She serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations with over eight years of higher education accounting experience prior to joining Northern State.
In her three years on staff with the Wolves, Fair has overseen the ticketing RFP process and the implementation of the vivenu ticketing service launched in the summer of 2025. In addition, she secured and is leading the onboarding efforts for the department with Teamworks software and has modernized multiple internal processes in the department, leading to increased efficiency.
Fair serves as the internal accounts manager for all 15 intercollegiate programs working closely with the NSU Foundation and Northern State University finance teams on internal controls, reporting, and long-term budget planning. She leads all NCAA and Federal reporting, oversees the Official Nike Team Store and sports camp administration, manages all aspects of the ticketing process including season and single game ticket sales, works continually with coaches on budget analysis and revenue/expense projections, and serves as the sport administrator for swimming and diving.
From 2015-23 she worked in a variety of roles at Presentation College as a staff and senior accountant. As a member of the Saints staff, Fair handled the day-to-day accounting needs of the institution, managed the college bookstore and mail room, and held duties with accounts payable and payroll.
Fair earned her Bachelor of Science in Professional Accountancy and Business Management from Northern State University in May of 2015. A Warner, SD native, Fair currently resides in Aberdeen.
