Northern State University Athletics

Amanda Fair begins her third year at Northern State in the fall of 2025. She serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations with over eight years of higher education accounting experience prior to joining Northern State. 
 
Prior to joining the Wolves staff, Fair spent just under a year as an accountant for Lamont Companies in Aberdeen. From 2015-23 she worked in a variety of roles at Presentation College as a staff and senior accountant. As a member of the Saints staff, Fair handled the day-to-day accounting needs of the institution, managed the college bookstore and mail room, and held duties with accounts payable and payroll.
 
Fair will be responsible for all financial systems within the athletics department and will work closely with both the NSU Foundation and Northern State University finance teams on internal controls, reporting, and long-term budget planning.
 
In addition, she will lead all NCAA and Federal reporting, oversee the Official Nike Team Store and sports camp administration, and work continually with coaches on budget analysis and revenue/expense projections.
 
Fair earned her Bachelor of Science in Professional Accountancy and Business Management from Northern State University in May of 2015. A Warner, SD native, she currently resides in Aberdeen.
