Prep: Jake Flakus is a 5-foot-9, 184-pounder out of Aberdeen Central High School. He was a 3-year starter for the Golden Eagles, finishing his career with 105 victories. Flakus was named to the Aberdeen American News All-Area Tea in 2016, while earning All-ESD honors in 2015 and 2017. In 2017 he earned All-State Academic and was named the Spirit of the Eagle recipient. Flakus is a 3-time state placewinner and a team ESD Champion in 2015 and 2017. He is the son of Zach, NSU Deputy Director of Athletics, and Amy Flakus.
