Prep: Keith Smith is a 5-foot-7, 141-pound wrestler out of Lincoln East High School. He was a 4-year starter and senior team captain for the Spartans under the direction of head coach Jeff Rutledge. Smith posted a career recorded of 119-16. He was a 3-time Nebraska state placer, winning the State Championship as a sophomore and a senior. Smith is a 2-time Preseason Nationals High School All-American, a Cadet Greco Fargo All-American, a UWW Cadet Greco All-American, a Preseason Nationals High School National Champion, and a place winner at the Western Regional and Northern Plains tournaments. He is the son of Keith and Danielle Smith.
