Prep: Gavin Johnson is a 6-foot, 157-pound wrestler out of Kenyon-Wanamingo High School. He was a 5-year starter and team captain for the Knights under the direction of head coach Nathan Lexvold. Johnson finished his senior campaign with a 38-3 record and a runner-up finish at the Minnesota State High School League Tournament. He was a 2-time state placer at the MSHSL Tournament and a member of the Gopher All-Conference team. He is the son of Dan and Erica Johnson.
