Prep: Peyton Melius is a 6-foot, outside hitter out of Faulkton High School. She was a 5-year starter and senior team captain for the Trojans under the direction of head coach Mallory Schlechter. Melius tallied 1,726 kills, 1,549 digs, 218 aces, and 136 blocks in her prep career. She is a 3-time all-state selection, 5-time all-conference pick, a multi time local news athlete of the week and all-area selection, and a Faulkton High School record holder. Melius holds the school records for single season kills (457) and single game kills (26). She is the daughter of Ryan and Nikki Melius.
