Prep: Preston Barr is a 5-foot-10, 190-pound running back out of Central High School. He was a 3-year starter and senior team captain for the Golden Eagles under head coach Mike Flakus. Barr tallied 2,037 yards rushing, averaging 5.06 yards per carry, and 14 touchdowns over his career. He added 238 yards receiving, averaging 7.67 yards per reception. As a safety, Barr notched 55 tackles and four interceptions. He is a 2-time all-conference and Aberdeen American News All-Area selection, as well as a 2017 all-state and academic all-state honoree. Barr was named the Aberdeen American News Player of the Year and will participate in the South Dakota All-Star game this summer. He is the son of Ryan and Tiffany Barr.
