Prep: Kylee Van Egdom is a 5-foot-10, outside hitter from Sioux Falls Christian High School. She was a 4-year starter and 3-year team captain for the Chargers. Van Egdom recorded 505 kills, 285 digs, and 117 aces in her senior season. She led Sioux Falls Christian to its seventh South Dakota Class A State Championship, and recorded 17 aces over nine sets to do so. She finishes her prep career with 1,327 kills, 934 digs, 341 aces, and 121 blocks. She is a 4-time all-conference and 3-time all-state selection, as well as a 2016 AAU All-American. As a senior she was named MVP of the Dakota XII Conference, Region 3A Player of the Year, South Dakota VB All Star, Midwest Elite 40 All Star, State Volleyball All-Tournament Team, Class A All State, Adrenaline/Midco Sports Volleyball POY, Argus Leader Super Six Volleyball POY, and South Dakota Class A Miss Volleyball. The Chargers won the 2015, 2017, and 2018 South Dakota State Championships. She is the daughter of Scott and Candace Van Egdom.
