Courteney begins her second season as the Wolves volleyball graduate assistant.
The New Ulm, Minnesota native joins NSU volleyball after a storied career at Minnesota State Mankato. For the Mavericks, Steinhauser was named the Georgene Brock Award recipient given to the top student athlete. She currently is second all-time in blocks and third all-time in kills. Courteney earned the Maverick Achievement Award for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.
Steinhauser graduated from Minnesota State in the spring of 2013, earning a bachelor of science in Special Education with a minor in Communication Disorders. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree from Northern State in Sport Performance and Leadership.
