Season and Career Bests

Prep: Makenna Larson is a sprinter out of Chester Area School. She is a 5-year letter winner for the Flyers under the direction of head coach Misty Larson. Larson holds personal bests of 12.39 in the 100m, 25.64 in the 200m, and 1:00.60 in the 400m. She is a 6-time school record holder at Chester Area in the 100m, 200m, 400m relay, 800m relay, 1600m relay, and 1600m sprint medley relay. In 2019, she was a finalist for the Argus Leader Athlete of the Year. Larson is a 15-time state placer and 5-time South Dakota State Champion. She is the daughter of Northern State alumni Heath and Misty Larson.
