Prep: Lexie Malimanek is an individual medley, backstroke, and freestyle swimmer out of Vermillion High School. As a member of the Vermillion Area Swim team, Malimanek tallied 12 state titles. She is a 2-time state champion in the 100 free and 200 IM, and a single season state champion in the 25 fly, 50 fly, 100 IM, 200 free, 500 free, 800 free, 1500 free, and 400 IM. Malimanek qualified for the Speedo Swim Sectionals in 2017. She is the daughter of Sarah Malimanek Bruning and Jon Smith.
