Prep: Karli Epstein is a 5-foot-4, defender out of Desert Vista High School. She was a 2-year starter and team captain for the Thunder under head coach Marvin Hypolite. As a sophomore, Epstein recorded five goals and eight assists. The Thunder went undefeated through the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons as Epstein was a starter on the defense which gave up zero goals against. In 2017, her club team won the Arizona State Cup Tournament and the Arizona State Championships. They finished top-8 in teh region at the Far West Regional Championships. She is the daughter of Kim and Larry Epstein.
