She was a 3-year starter and team captain for Broughton Hall High School, competing in the Merseyside County Schools Football Association. Broughton Hall won the MCSFA in back-to-back seasons. She is a member of the successful Liverpool Feds Women’s FC, who competes in the FA Women’s National League Division One North. Murphy has grown throughout the Liverpool program playing for the primary schoolgirls, schoolgirls, and Feds WFC over the last 11 years. In that time, she has won numerous player of the year awards. She is the daughter of Ali and Tommy Murphy.
