Pre-NSU: Ellie Gess is a 5-foot-8 guard out of Jefferson High School and Concordia-St. Paul. She was a 4-year starter and 2-year team captain as a prep, averaging 15.0 points per game in her senior season. Gess recorded 1,260 career points at Jefferson High School, finishing her career second in career points and the all-time leader in 3-pointers made. She was a 3-time all-conference selection and a 3-year member of the Metro West All-Defensive team. In her two seasons with the Golden Bears, Gess averaged 6.2 points per game. She is the daughter of Jim Gess and will join the Wolves with two years of eligibility.
