Alvin Nyangau enters his first season with the women's basketball program in the fall of 2022. Nyangau joins the Wolves staff after stints at North Dakota State University and Upper Iowa University and will serve as the team’s second assistant.

While on staff at UIU, he oversaw multiple areas of the program including team travel, compliance, academics, equipment, and campus visits. In addition, Nyangau recruited the Midwest region, oversaw the guards and wings, managed team social media accounts, and was managed the defensive preparations for game day.
Nyangau began his coaching career as an assistant at Orono Public Schools (Minnesota). While working towards his bachelor’s degree, Nyangau was a student manager for the North Dakota State University women’s basketball program. He earned his bachelor of science in Spot Management from North Dakota State and master’s in Sport Administration from Upper Iowa University.
