Pre-NSU: Travis Rittenhouse is a 6-foot-1, outfielder out of Rochester Century High School and Iowa Central Community College. As a prep he was a 4-year starter and letter winner for the Panthers, as well as being selected as a team captain his junior and senior seasons. He batted above .300 all four seasons as a Panther and notched a career best .487 batting average, .674 slugging percentage, and .479 on-base percentage his senior season. Throughout his 4-year career at Century he totaled 94 hits and 67 runs scored. After high school Rittenhouse appeared in 18 games for the Tritons in 2021, batting .286 with a .378 on-base percentage while totaling eight hits and ten runs scored. ICCC finished the season with a 35-23 record and were runners-up in their conference.
