Prep: Nhial is a 6-foot-7, 200-pound forward out of West Fargo Sheyenne High School. He was a starter and team captain for the Mustangs under the direction of head coach Tom Kirchoffner. Nhial averaged 21.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game his senior season. He was the EDC Senior Player of the Year, a first team all-conference selection, first team all-state honoree, and a finalist for Mr. Basketball North Dakota in 2021-22. He is the son of Daniel Lual and Mary Mabil.
