Biography

2016: Redshirt season…           

Prep: Matt Denn is a 5-foot-10, 190-pound quarterback out of Sparks Nevada and Edward C. Reed High School. He was a 2-year starter and senior team captain for the Raiders under head coach Ernie Howren. As a senior, Denn earned first team All-State, first team All-Region, first team All-League, team MVP, and was the region and league Player of the Year. He tallied 3,131 yards passing and 49 touchdowns as a prep. The Raiders went 24-5 in 2014 and 2015 and were regional champs each season. Denn was also a member of the Raider baseball team, and participated in National Honor Society and Raiders Reaching Out. He is the son of Stephanie and Tony Denn.
