Bre Milnes

Breanna Milnes

Milnes enters her second season as a graduate assistant for the Wolves, working primarily with the pitchers and catchers. 
 
Milnes began her college softball career at Kirkwood Community College where she led her team to the NJCAA National Tournament in 2006 and 2007. She was named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and NFCA Second Team All-American for the 2007 season.
 
After her sophomore season, Milnes transferred to Northern State. She led the team in strikeouts her senior season, and was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week. Milnes graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Marketing and Administration. She is now working towards the completion of her Master's Degree in Sports Performance and Leadership.
 
Following her playing career, Milnes was a pitching coach at Kirkwood for three years. While at Kirkwood, Milnes mentored three NJCAA All-Americans, four NFCAA All-Americans, six ICCAC All-Conference pitchers, and two Region XI Pitcher of the Year selections. In her first season, Kirkwood had the best season in school history with a 55-6 record. The Eagles finished seventh in the NJCAA National Tournament during her second season after claiming the conference title. Milnes helped the Eagles to a 152-30 record in her three seasons at Kirkwood.
